Our neighbors wave at us like we've lived here forever now. At this point, I guess we kind of have.

That's the part nobody puts in the brochure — the regular life stuff. It’s important to have routines and a semblance of order in your life to maintain your sanity when you are trying to make a go of it in a new country. Same street, same faces, people who know your name. That's what makes it stick.
